full glam is so back.

After years of “clean girl” minimalism and barely-there beats, the forecast we’ve been predicting is finally here: full glam is so back, bb.

Eyes are taking center stage; lids are canvases again. Glitters. Foiled metallic shadows. Electric liners in bold, unapologetic colors demanding to be seen.

The comeback is modernized, and refined. Beyond aesthetics, this iteration of our ‘return to glam’ feels deeper than curation. It feels like intention. Like expression. Like it’s less about a look, and more about embodying a POV.

This cultural moment x beauty is about being for something.

Standing for something. Unapologetically, with your whole chest (and your whole face). Cause no one likes a neutral ass beezy, ya know.

These days, metallic across the lids feels like a return to something we misplaced between 2016 and 2025. Our integrity (lol), and our lightness. We’re returning to something bigger.

We’re returning to joy; we’re returning to optimism.

Make space in your drawers, because we’re returning to eyeshadow palettes, too.

The girlies and the gays are creating again! We’re back to experimenting in our laboratories built over bathroom sinks and corner vanities. We’re mixing finishes + stacking textures. We’re embracing sparkly liners on a Tuesday afternoon. We’re rediscovering playfulness.

We’re rediscovering freedom.

So, it makes sense that eyeshadow palettes are back, too.

After seasons of sweeping just a little bit of Mario’s softsculpt bronze shaping stick across my lids, palettes have, as pictured above, reclaimed their space in my life.

Lately, some faves include:

Makeup by Mario Master Mattes Palette – The neutrals are chef’s kiss.
Patrick Ta Major Dimensions III – Love this one for sculpting definition. I use it alongside other, more, glam palettes (including Ta’s Major Dimensions, the OG).
Natasha Denona I Need A Nude – During the galentines season we’re currently in, I’m loving this palette to achieve those softer, more romantic looks. ❤️

Dw, I’ll continue to report on this eyeshadow palette journey. So far, I’m having the best time playing with brushes again, carving out that crease, choosing transition shades, and creating modern, shimmery smoky eyes.

I think we’re happier when we’re playing with makeup. And it shows.

Enjoy the hell out of makeup this season bbs, we’re all gonna have so much fun. 👩🏻🎨🤩
